My favorite demonstration was the one involving the graphics. The 3-D plotting and the Earth's topography were very cool to see. It's interesting how this program can be used in so many ways such as to make equations but can also make visual aids, such as these graphs. The different colors and shapes all contribute to showing information graphically in an understandable way.

About Me

I am a freshman at Duke, Class of 2018. I hope to major in either civil or environmental engineering. I enjoy listening to music a lot, especially reggae music.

Name Pronunciation

My name is Jacquelyn, long for Jacky. I go by Jacky most of the time which is pronounced JACK-ee, like Jackie Chan minus the Chan.

Grand Challenges for Engineering Article

MATLAB Demonstration

My favorite demonstration was the one involving the graphics. The 3-D plotting and the Earth's topography were very cool to see. It's interesting how this program can be used in so many ways such as to make equations but can also make visual aids, such as these graphs. The different colors and shapes all contribute to showing information graphically in an understandable way.
