My favorite demonstrations is the 3D-Surface Plots. Originally, I was intrigued by the Viewing a Penny demonstration. However, since it is originated from the 3-D plots and 3-D Surface Plots, I decided to choose 3D-Surface Plots. I chose 3D-Surface Plots over 3D-Plots simply because it looks more aesthetically pleasing. In all seriousness, with 3-D plots, engineers are able to CAD with precise measurements and view the virtual model of the product before 3D-printing it out.

About me

I am an undergraduate in Duke University. Obviously, I am a Pratt Engineering student, or else I won't be creating this page. I came from Taiwan and studied in Fuxing (local school in Taipei) until 5th grade. Then, I transferred to Taipei American School and studied until I graduated. I am currently leaning towards majoring Biomedical Engineering and considering to do premed. However, I am still open for other possibilities.

Interests

I love magic (not Magic The Gathering, but like illusions/sleights) and I specialize in card tricks. I also play badminton competitively.

Name

My name is Alexander Tseng. Tseng is pronounced as "ts-ANG". Since there are too many Alex's around, I go by Xander.
