Of the listed demonstrations, I enjoyed Conway's Game of Life most. I read about the simulation a couple years ago, so seeing a very accessible GUI that wasn't of a 3D graph helped expand the concept of a GUI.

Mike Basmajian is a freshman at Duke with a current interest in Mechanical Engineering. His interests outside of engineering include reading (especially Marquez) and classical languages.


Of the listed demonstrations, I enjoyed Conway's Game of Life most. I read about the simulation a couple years ago, so seeing a very accessible GUI that wasn't of a 3D graph helped expand the concept of a GUI.
